You Have Something

Oga (master) sir, to say that you don’t have anything to offer is enough indication that you have much to offer. For the fact that you can open your mouth and declare such, you are a rich man.

Most financial blessings don’t come by the investment of cash. You can contribute immensely to others without neccesarily giving them money. Cash is catchy but men who make real wealth and sustains it are kind.

Jesus taught us how to live on earth during His earthly ministry. It was said of Jesus that He feed thousands of people with just few breads and fishes. Jesus has sufficient reasons not to help those men after a 3day Marathon teachings because of the little bread they had with them.

His disciples saw this as impossible and they told their Master about it, because in fact, they have little breads with them which to them cannot go round for everyone present.

Jesus moved with compassion for the people, considered the disaster that would before the multitude if they left them without eaten. He told his disciples to bring that little and they shared it for the multitudes.

It Pays

To their greatest surprise, they had more than enough baskets of bread left. How can you explain the feeding of five thousand men with just five loaves and two fishes? And yet they had twelve baskets extra as a left over.

Note that Jesus, His disciples and the multitude were in that wilderness together for the three days marathon teachings. I can’t doubt the fact that Jesus and His disciples would also be hungry that very day.

I perceived what would be going on in the hearts of Jesus’s disciples when He told them to share that little provisions that they were supposed to eat themselves.

They don’t have option, total obedience is needed to be a correct follower of Jesus. So they shared the little to the multitude not minding what they will eat. They endured their hunger to the satisfaction of others.

To my greatest surprise, their obedience to the voice of the Master brought twelve baskets back to them. So if they wanted to take one basket each and eat, they would have done so with ease. What cost them actually paid them. They had more than enough at the end of the day.

Nothing is Too Small

What you call small is the need of some people. What you think doesn’t have value in your hands is the most urgent needs of others. Inability to appreciate your little gift could be to the detriment of others whose hunger could be quenched by your it.

Value that your little ability, it is the answer to others’ disabilities.
