Be Yourself

– Don’t defeat the divine intention for your life by paying much attention to other people’s dispositions.
– You are made to be a voice don’t end up an echo by your decision to be like someone you like.
– If you continue to pursue being like other people you may end up where you don’t like.
– There is a uniqueness in every individual waiting to be discovered and expressed. Search it out.
– Don’t strive to to be the duplicate of any body, please act originally because you are original.

Be careful not to be like anybody lest you end up a nobody. The best you can be in life is to be yourself. You have been uniquely created by God don’t live less than that by trying to be another person. Where lies the uniqueness in you if you are always after becoming like another man?
If God wanted you to be like another person, He would have just duplicated you directly from the person. God wouldn’t have taken His time to specially mold you by allowing you to be formed in your mothers womb and take the shape you have now.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Before you were conceived in your mothers womb God had a great reason for allowing you to be conceived. It is impossible for God to act purposelessly. Never thinks that you are useless and unimportant in your environment. Greater than you could imagine are the treasures in the inside of you.
Why not accept whom the Lord has created you to be and connect to Him to grow into the fullness of God’s intention for your life? Yes, God has an intention in mind before creating you the way you are. Don’t defeat this divine intention by paying much attention to other people’s dispositions.
We can’t negate the fact that there are influential men around the world, whose influences are very positive and attractive, so much that many are doing everything in their capacities to be like them. Friend, if the force of attraction coming from that your desired great personality is not pushing you into fulfuling your own destiny, such is very dangerous for your health.
It is normal to see others doing great where God has placed them and admire their lives. Sir, be careful so that what you admire so much will not lead to the denial of your own enviable destiny. Most times we quickly conclude we want to be like those wonderful personalities around us while we remain irrelevant to ourselves.
Most men would even go extra miles in pursuit of the life that doesn’t belong to them at the expense of their divinely organised destiny. The best you can get from such inordinate pursuit is to become the shadow or photocopy of the person you so much desired to be like.
There is a uniqueness in every individual waiting to be discovered and expressed. Search it out, and you will also be world’s delight. Nothing kills the ability in a man than his hunger to be like others around him. To want to be like everyone is to end up being nobody. Don’t be carried away from your reality by trying to come into the reality of others.
You are made to be a voice don’t end up an echo by your decision to be like someone you like. Instead, move close to such individuals and patiently learn some important things about their lives that have made them worthy of your attention.
