How to Get Close to Oneself 

This age is full of distractions and things that could disconnect one from his essence. Many activities without any productivity could be sponsored in the life of a man  without sound understanding of himself. The major challenge of modern life is that the enormousity of factual information which can sometimes leave you cripple of human information, understanding, insight, self-knowledge, and purpose.

The traditional ways of connecting to our divine source, the true treasure trove of information have dwindled in our technologically-advanced and secularized world. More people are feeling unsettled and anxious, restless and discontented, forever searching for something that will make them happy and great. 

A sound connection to your source is the key to the highest and best information needed for life. So, what’s the best way to make sure that connection is strong and ever-ready? As a spiritual teacher the tools I have found to be the most important, effective, and long-lasting are discussed below. 

Central to all the divine principles that we shall look at today is this first point. Many have been trying all their possible best and means to know and unleash the essence of their existence without the knowledge of this first point. Just as it is impossible to know an object more than the one that made it, so also is very difficult for a creature to know himself without the creator. 

The strength that lies in every man comes out for manifetaion when man is in direct contact with his maker. From the above scripture we know that no one can boast of any strenght without a relationship with the one that created him. Doing exploit is the product of applied strenght which could also be seen as the result of knowing God.

Nothing is best known except through the one who made it. Only the creator can best give a clear definition of what he created. God is our creator and if we seek to know who we are and help advance the course of our existence in life we must go to the one who created us. 

The worth and the value of a man could be totally hiding from him if such fails to seek God. God seekers will not only get God, they will get themselves at the long run. You think you have a clear picture of your life, but sir, try and embrace more of God, you will know that you are a stranger to yourself by the time the divine light focuses on you and you begin to discover what have been eternally writing about you.

There are volumes of books writing about you. You can only find that in God not in yourself. Not even with your intellectual properties. The best your intellectual capacity can offer you is nothing but the residue of the total you. 

Let me tell you that the sense organs are so limited that they can’t see beyond the physical world and if that is the case, one cannot know anything for certain about himself except for the ones which he can relate with externally.

Friend, take a bold step and come to Jesus today. Just tell Him to take over and take the lead, while you follow Him. And if you are in Jesus, please allow Him to have His way always and you will see exactly what your destiny looks like by His divine light. With Him you are eternally secured. Believe me, you are on the journey to exploring all that you carry.
